Ali graduated from University of Rochester 25 years ago, with a degree in psychology and fine art, Ali began her career at Nielsen TV ratings and then worked in corporate America and with not-for-profits, but Hudson Valley residents came to know and love Allison, as a business columnist for the Times Herald Record. When Allison isn’t busy working or volunteering her time, she is happiest poolside, skiing, or quietly practicing yoga, enjoying her life in Warwick, with her family, and fierce but friendly mutt.
Gregory M. Sobo Esq. is the CEO and Founder of Sobo & Sobo LLP: a personal injury law firm based in New York’s Hudson Valley and New York City. Mr. Sobo has been practicing personal injury law for over 15 years, during which time he has personally handled almost every type of personal injury case, and has become knowledgeable about a wide spectrum of accident induced injuries. He graduated from Colgate University in 1994, cum laude, and was named the Patriot League Scholar Athlete of the Year. Mr. Sobo was the East Coast Athletic Conference Diving Champion four times, and an N.C.A.A. Division I finalist two times. Similarly, Mr. Sobo loves the challenge and competition that the practice of law presents. He believes that every case presents a new unique challenge and opportunity for success. He is passionate about always going above and beyond to help injured victims, and enjoys meeting new people and exploring how he can help them.
Carl Learned, Esq. knew he wanted to be a lawyer since he was a child. His father, uncle and grandfather were all attorneys, and his father was also a judge in the local court where he grew up. Inspired to follow in his family’s footsteps, Mr. Learned earned his Juris Doctor from Syracuse University College of Law in 2015, and a year later became an accepted member of the New York State Bar Association. Mr. Learned takes pride in using a personal approach in order to help his clients through the stressful legal process, while remaining focused on achieving the best possible outcome for each client.
Jennifer M. Rosado, Esq. was born in New York City and raised in the Town of Newburgh, New York, where she graduated from Newburgh Free Academy (NFA) with honors. She then attended SUNY Geneseo where she earned her B.S. in Business Administration. Upon graduating, Mrs. Rosado accepted a position at a general practice law firm. She then went on to Thomas M. Cooley Law School (a.k.a. Western Michigan University), where she was a semi-finalist in the Intra School Mock Trial competition, and ultimately earned her J.D.
Mathew M. Samradli, Esq. graduated with honors from the State University of New York at Albany, where he majored in Political Science and History. After graduating, Mr. Samradli earned his J.D. from Albany Law School of Union University, where he studied civil procedure, litigation and trial advocacy. Growing up, Mr. Samraldi frequently helped his family’s business, where he was immersed in different areas of law. From a young age, he was intrigued by ways that attorneys could use the law to help others, and realized that becoming a lawyer would allow him to be part of what he considered an historic profession that is constantly evolving, while being able to protect the rights of individuals who have suffered losses due to the actions of others.
Sheila Rosenrauch, Esq. went to Hunter College where she participated in their Honors Program, and was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She earned a B.A. and graduated Magna cum laude. Sheila then enrolled at New York Law School, where she was Editor of the Law Review, earned her J.D., and graduated Magna cum laude in June of 1978. Within months of graduating, Sheila began her career as a personal injury attorney for the Con Edison Law Department. In 1987 she moved to the Hudson Valley and joined a small firm in Goshen, NY, and has been devoted to helping injury victims from the region since that time.
“Food for Thought” hosted by Stephan Kita
You are a “Foodie” with a taste for fine wines…define a “foodie”…
A “foodie” has an adventurous spirit and an insatiable hunger for all things gourmet and would most likely experiment with new and possibly exotic foods and they tend to hone their skills in the kitchen. Foodies share knowledge rather than flaunt it. And that describes the host of Food for Thought, Stephan Kitar.
Stephan’s guests will be a litany of an eclectic ala carte menu featuring restauranteurs, sommeliers, chefs, wineries, and all things food and beverage. They’ll share their stories on the road to nourishing the palates and souls of their patrons.
“Wine adds a smile to friendships and a spark to love. It is the second blood of the human race”.
Stephan is rich in history on all things food and drink, especially prime meats like Frank Burgers, Wagyu Filets and exotic cuts.
