Michael Sweeton -In 2001, Michael ran as a Republican for Town Supervisor of Warwick, the largest town in Orange County. He was re-elected in 2003, 2007 and 2011 by ever-increasing margins, winning the election with 70% of the vote in a town where Republicans comprise only 35% of voters. He has received the endorsement of the Republican, Conservative and Independence Parties for each of his elections. He has since won two uncontested elections and has been serving as Supervisor for 18 years.

As Supervisor of the Town of Warwick, Michael serves as the chief executive and fiscal officer and oversees a budget of $18 million and 140 employees. His tenure has been marked by many innovative programs including a program to preserve farmland, implementing the use of solar energy to power the Town Hall, and updating the Town’s zoning regulations, earning statewide recognition for forward-thinking land use management including Wickham Woodlands.

Founded in 1979 by Marc W. Kelley, Greystone Programs offered the first privately run home in New York State for people with autism. Our groundbreaking initiative was the first to provide residential support in a community environment. Greystone has 17 homes in Ulster, Dutchess and Orange counties and we are proud to provide essential services and life-enriching opportunities to more than 600 children, adults and families with autism and other developmental disabilities throughout five counties in the Mid-Hudson Valley. We employ a diverse team of more than 400 professionals who provide exceptional care and support through a variety of programs and services.

Michele Lawrenson is the Assistant Executive Director of Administration at Greystone Programs and oversees the Human Resources function at Greystone Programs for the past 17 years. She has a degree in Business Administration and over 25 years’ experience in the field of Human Resources, both with for-profit and not-for-profit industries.

Samara Enders is the Director of Philanthropy in the Advancement Department at Greystone Programs. She has a degree in Communications and has extensive experience in not-for-profit development.
